By-law 2022-8653 being a by-law to enter into an agreement with
R.M. Belanger Limited regarding the McIntyre Sewer Lift Station
Upgrades
By-law 2022-8654 being a by-law to enter into an agreement with
her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario as represented by the
Minister of Transportation for the Province of Ontario regarding a
Dedicated Gas Tax Funds for Public Transportation Program

South Porcupine Winter Carnival Fireworks
BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approves the request by the South
Porcupine Winter Carnival Committee to hold their fireworks display on
Sunday, February 20th, 2022 at 7:00 pm from the shore of Porcupine
Lake just east of Northern College.
AND FURTHER THAT liability insurance in the amount of $5 million
dollars be provided naming the City of Timmins as additional named
insured.
AND FURTHER THAT a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the
Timmins Police Services and the Timmins Fire Department.

South Porcupine Winter Carnival Fireworks
BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approves the request by the South
Porcupine Winter Carnival Committee to hold their fireworks display on
Sunday, February 20th, 2022 at 7:00 pm from the shore of Porcupine
Lake just east of Northern College.
AND FURTHER THAT liability insurance in the amount of $5 million
dollars be provided naming the City of Timmins as additional named
insured.
AND FURTHER THAT a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the
Timmins Police Services and the Timmins Fire Department.

attached map.
AND FURTHER THAT liability insurance in the amount of $5 million
dollars be provided naming the City of Timmins as additional named
insured.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approves the Association of
Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) 2022 membership fees in the amount of
$13,744.04 and the Ontario Good Roads Association (OGRA) 2022
membership fees in the amount of $2,509.62.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approves a request from the Downtown
Timmins BIA for a street closure on Third Avenue from Pine Street to
Cedar Street on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
for the 2022 Downtown Timmins / LaRonde Carnival
AND FURTHER THAT the Cedar Street parking lot be close to
accommodate the carnival
AND FURTHER THAT the City provide 8 barricades for road closure and
2 large garbage containers
AND FURTHER THAT liability insurance in the amount of $5 million
dollars be provided naming the City of Timmins as additional named
insured.
AND FURTHER THAT a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the
Timmins Police Service, the Timmins Fire Department, Parks and
Recreation, Public Works Department and Timmins Transit.

Lift Station Upgrades in the amount of $3,072,900.00 plus HST be given
third and final reading and be enacted and passed.
